if you really want to get pregnant it will come naturally....and i wouldnt rush it anyways....i got pregnant when my son was 4 months old and i already wish it couldve waited...im 20 weeks now....i am twice as tired as what i was when i was pregnant the first time...plus getting pregnant too soon increases your chances in miscarriage and still birth...you should atleast wait until your baby is a year old before you try again.

First, if you only had a baby four months ago (and I HOPE you waited atleast a month before having sex again) then that would put you at trying for only 3 months! It takes most women with NORMAL fertility up to a year to get pregnant. So, you CAN get pregnant. It will just take some time, like it does for everyone. Just because you got pregnant very quickly with your first, does not mean that will definitely be the case for subsequent pregnancies. You need to be patient. Also, doctors recommend waiting atleast a year before starting to try to conceive again because it puts a severe physical strain on your body otherwise. You dont want to do damage to yourself by forcing a pregnancy that your body isnt ready for. Take it easy. It will happen when it is time. Relax and enjoy the baby that you have!

Are you breast feeding? Have you started having your periods again? If you are breast feeding it could stop your cycle until you are done breast feeding or until your baby isn't feeding off of you as much. If you haven't started your period then you won't be getting pregnant because your not ovulating. Also it takes normal couples with no fertility problems up to two years to get pregnant. If you are getting your period try planning sex around your ovulation date. This is usually about 14 days after the first day of your last period. The egg only lives for 24 hours in your system, sperm however can live for 2-4 days so if you feel up to it and the 4 month old you have lets you just have sex for 4 days straight and it should up your chances and it should be a lot of fun!

Well it's only been 4 months, don't rush yourself! I think I would go crazy if I had a 13 month old and a newborn at the same time! My baby is 11 months old and I cant even imagine being pregnant right now, i'm too busy running after her.

If you are breastfeeding, you're not likely to even get your period for at least a few more months anyway, since breastfeeding acts as a natural contraceptive. My baby is 11 months old and I still have'nt gotten my cycle back.

Your body needs to have a time of rest and repair before you get pregnant again. Breast-feeding has a natural contraceptive effect for this reason. If you have your children too close together, you will not just affect your health, but could possibly affect their health as well since your body will not be in good shape to carry them. Enjoy your 4 month old and wait for awhile before trying to have another. The new baby deserves a mother in the best possible position health-wise to carry him/her. The older child also would benefit from time to bond with you before having to share.

4 months is a really short time... Give it a while & take care of yourself and your baby now.

I got pregnant when my baby was about 4 months old. For me, it's a blessing, but I don't know how well most people would handle having 2 babies... (I've done it before, I have twins).

I know it sounds like a good idea to have another right away, but doing that is like murder on your body. You should have a year space from the time you deliver, to the time you concieve. It is to great a risk for you, and your soon to be baby to do that, talk to your doctor, I'm sure they will say the same.

You should wait till at least 6 months after giving birth or it will harm your body especially in the long run! Take care of yourself!!

It's really not a good idea to be trying this soon. YOur body is not recovered from the previous pregnancy and will not be for at least a year.!! It's best to wait.
