definitely Verizon!!!! I started with at&t witch was bought out by cingular. I couldn't even make a call or receive one without it cutting in and out or dropping the call. Conversations were few and far between. I had to keep calling cingulars customer serivice and let me tell you they sucked big time! Everytime i called they would tell me to do the same things to resolve the problems. Finally i worked my way up the chain of command and thank goodness was able to get out of my contract. Its been 8 months now since I switched to verizon and i have never had a dropped call and can finally have a conversation. lAnd their customer service has been great. So definetly go Verizion!!

It depends.... really! I got cingular and it wasn't the best for me at the time (2 years ago). I lived about 300 miles from my boyfriend and the connection was terrible! When he called and we linked up to talk, it'd probably drop the connection every couple of minutes. Also, I lived in the country (about 10 miles from city limits) and couldn't use my phone to call numbers 10 miles away..I'd have to drive a couple or 3 miles to a higher place (a little hill) and try my call. It's my understanding that vast improvements have been made in both companies. You need to decide what areas you'll be calling most and ask to see their map showing you their tower locations. Ask them about their "signal range". Ask them if it can be returned for a full refund within how many days if it does not satisfactorily perform for you. Then, another thing to consider, if not of that applies much to you....what service to the majority of your family and friends have....usually Verizon to Verizon OR Cingular to Cingular are considered in the "free minutes" category. Hope this helps! (P.S. I have Verizon, most of my family and friends have Cingular - My #1 man in my life has Verizon...

Depends on where you live and who your friends and family have. I live in CT and know a lot of people with Cingular, so with the Mobile to Mobile it just makes sense, also coverage has been great. But go to a cingular store and verizon store and ask to see a detailed map of where you plan to use the phone to make sure they have coverage.

T-Mobile is the best, and has the proof to show it. T-Mobile has earned the JD Powers best in customer satisfaction award three years in a row, and is currently at the top for the fourth year. Also, the best overall Cell-site coverage and the best price on rate plans (the GET MORE guarantee). Go to www.t-mobile.com. There is a coverage map where you can plug in your address and get what your coverage is, you can choose a rate plan and phone on the web, and even activate your account online. If you prefer the personal touch, you can call 1-800-TMOBILE, or you can put your address into the store locator search for the nearest location.
