How do you cite an internet news article in which no author was listed?

If there really is no author, start with the title. Most of the examples in online citation guides do have an author. Here are some examples:



Adler, Jerry. "Ghost of Everest." Newsweek 17 May 1999. 19 May 1999 .



Wren, Christopher. "A Body on Mt. Everest, a Mystery Half-Solved." New York Times on the Web 5 May 1999. 13 May 1999 .

and the date it was posted and the date u got it off the internet
