I think it's Regulus Alphred Black, Sirius younger brother who was a Death Eater. Sirius had an uncle who was named Alphred. That would explain R .A. B. My main reason for this conclusion is because in OOTP, while cleaning out the Black household, a locket was found that none of the people in the house (at that time, Dumbledore wasn't there) could open. I think they put it in the rubbish bag, I don't know what happened to it after that. If it is the horcrux, Harry's going to have a hard time finding it ;-) Oh, and JKR never said it wasn't him, she wouldn't answer the question.

Regulous A. Black - Sirius' brother. I think that the locket in question is the one Harry and the gang found in Sirius' house when they were cleaning it. Remember - the one no one could open? Now, I think it is in the possession of Kreacher.

Heard it was Sirus's brother or something, but them JK Rowling said it isn't. Guess we'll have to wait. (I can see you like Harry Potter...I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!)
