Buy or make a shirt that says " I'm going to be a BIG sister". Have a family dinner at your house. In the middle of dinner take your daughter to another room change her shirt and bring her back in the room. I saw something similar to this on America's Funniest Home Videos. The family was so excited. Congrats!!

Step 1 Ahead of time tell your daughter about the real baby coming and how it's in your tummy right now, teach her to point at your tummy saying 'baby' and then hug the baby (your tummy).
Step 2 Give your daughter a baby doll to play with (show her how, with bottle, blankie and all), have her play with the doll in front of everyone...awww! How cute.
Step 3 While everyone is watching her play 'mommy' ask her, "Sara, where's your baby?" she'll point at her doll. Then ask her, "Sara, where's the new baby?" Then she can point at your tummy saying, "Baby!" and hug your tummy. If all goes smoothly everyone will get it.
Let me say, be very patient and practice over a few days for short periods of time (5-10 min.) so it's a happy occasion for everyone. Don't stress if she can't do it or doesn't want to, there are other ways .... Good luck!

CONGRATS!!! Try having a party of some sort. Make all the invitations in pink or blue, all the food ect. There are also alot of ways that are more personal. Get them a #1 grandma shirt,or send a card to grandpa from the new edition.

My boyfriend and I are also trying to conceieve and when I do get pregnant I am going to send flowers to everyone and on the card Im going to make it sound like they are from our unborn child. For example on the card I send to my Grandma I will write something like "Dear Great Grandma, I can't wait to meet you and I really can't wait for you to love and spoil me in April, 2007(or whatever your due date is) With Love, Baby Chajon(or whatever the babies last name is). I will probably make the flower colors baby blue and baby pink seeing as I probably wont know the sex of the baby when I tell them cause I will be too excited to hold that inside for so long:) Good luck with whatever you choose.

If you are pregnant by Labor day (September 4) then it could be fun to have a Labor Day party ... and let them know that X-months from now, you will be laboring for real! Do a baby shower theme for the party - little baby plates & cups, if you want to, also! Have fun with it!

well, my sister-in-law did something unique that totally suprised my mother-in-law...our child is the first grandbaby...but anyway, she and her husband bought a cradle and put it on the porch of her friend's house (she was visiting a friend here in town) and rang the bell...she goes out and sees the cradle and baby elmo and doesn't know what to think at first...then she think's her friend's daughter put it there, but then realizes by the handwriting that it was her daughter's! she screamed from joy!
what i'm going to do when i annouce that i'm pregnant again, is do it when everyone's together anyway and doesn't suspect...then i'm going to kinda rehash all of adrien's old nicknames...as everyone's discussing them, i'll jump in and say, well, she has this new nickname now....i call her "the older sister"...

Take your daughter and your husband and all 3 of you go decorate their driveway while they're gone with the message. Make it all colorful and bright and when they get home and pull into the driveway they'll see it. Congrats on the new baby by the way!

Plan a special dinner party (with champangne ofcourse!) and dont tell your parents what its all about (make it a surprise). During dinner, get everyone's attention and you and your hubby announce the big news. Then propose a toast!

I would try and get everyone together for dinner and hand everyone a present when they get there. The present would be a little box with a tiny shoe inside. They must all open at the same time.

My sister was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. She got a stork stuffed animal and put a blue pacifier and a pink pacifier in the cloth that the stork carried the babies in and let my mom and dad open it.
Then for my sister's husband, which are HUGE baseball fans, they wrapped one pink baseball and one blue baseball and they opened that. Great pictures!
