The question comes down to who murdered who first, and who is denying rightful property to who first. Well. we do not have a court to decide this matter, so what do we do? We just have to have a War?
Isn't it amazing that the one with the strongest Army, Airforce and Navy who happens to have the Nuclear bomb times 30 would come up with this idea?

No, it makes you compassionate.

The question about who "threw the first punch" is illogical, because the first punch was thrown over 2000 years ago. Jews and Arabs have been fighting over that piece of land since Biblical times.

Israel has a right to defend itself within the guidelines set forth by the Geneva Conventions. It does not have the right to engage in "collective punishment", which it is using against innocent Lebanese. It's a fine line between "collateral damage" and "unjustified massacre", and Israel has crossed it, with the Bush administrations blessings.

No, criticism doesnt make on an anti semite. But are you looking at things rationally? You said who started it? How far back did you look? 1900s? This started in biblical times, did you go back that far? If you did, you'd know that the land once belonged to the Jewish people, and they were removed forcefully from it. Jews were slaughtered then and moved out, and the land stolen. The Jews promised to return someday, and they did. Why? Because it is holy land. That is what this war is all about. The holyland, both sides want it.

So, if you are going to criticize, at least be fair in your criticism. Put yourself in Israeli shoes. What would you do? Probably the same thing. I would do even more.

No, your not anti-semite, but you may be misinformed. Hezbollah has been committing crimes against Israel in sending in suicide bombers to kill CIVILIANS!

When a fly (hezbollah) buzzes and bites you (Israel) several times, sooner or later you are going to get out your fly swatter and hit it. It's about time Israel uses it's big swatter to kill, not just the fly, but to smash the larva so the fly will not come back.

I hope this analogy gives you a better idea, in a simple form
