You're out with some friends for a drink and you end up enjoying a great one night stand. Yet, the very next day your partner (fiance/husband etc) finds out. How do you excuse yourself?

DENY IT TILL DEATH

You don't make excuses. Just admit what happened and why. (first YOU ought to seriously consider why you did it). If the partnership is not explicitly monogomous from the start, then things should be okay. Remember, it's a two way street hun. But if there was an explicit agreement to monogomy, then it's 'forgive and move on' or ' hit the highway' time.

You can't excuse yourself, if it was you. It would also mean that you're not trustworthy, and if I was your fiance/husband, then I'd dump you or divorce you for adultery. Even though you may have not intended to mess around, you did do it, and the worst part about it is that you've put yourself in that position to do this. I don't mean to talk ugly to you, so please don't take offense to this. I just hope this situation doesn't involve you. Best of luck to you.

Be honest, its the only way that you have a chance of salvaging your relationship. No matter how good the one night stand was it was wrong of you to cheat. Pour your heart out and maybe you partner will forgive you, but your trust may take longer to earn back.

I needed some fun, you're boring. HAHA. Okay but to be honest, I'll say, "Well, I needed some fun because I've been stressed with work and all. You know how it is, working day and night, having no breaks and all. I decided maybe I could relax a little. I won't do it again."

There is no excuse for you. Or your actions. Especially when it doesn't sound like you're the least bit remorseful. My condolences to your partner/husband/fiance.

You can't...you messed up and gotta take responsibility for it...is an orgasm with a stranger really worth risking a relationship over? If so, the relationship should already have been over...

Treat others as you'd like to be treated...if you wouldn't want to be cheated on, don't be a party to cheating...

If someone else ratted u out, then just tell him that he/she was lying because he/she is jealous because you have ___ better than him/her. Or u can say he/she was lying 4 revenge or some made up event. Be ficticious & creative with it. My twin sister used 2 pull that stunt on me all the time & got out of plenty of lies.

Blame the alcohol, then suggest you & your partner have a few drinks & enjoy the results.
