A few drops? dont worry about it trans fluid is lubricant just thinner. Just to give you peace of mind get an oil change it probably needs one anyhow 3months 3000 miles. if it needed oil your due for a change.

You can do serious damage to the engine. A friend of mine made the same mistake, she put transmission fluid where the oil goes and when she was on the freeway one of the rods blew out of the engine and through the hood of her car. She had to get a whole new engine.

Better drain everything from you transmission fluid and then dry it with paper towel and put the correct fluid. Same thing with the oil tank. Ask a mechanic to do it, since yo have to be very careful.
Don´t turn on your car, until a mechanic tells you to do so.
It´s fixable don´t sweat.

If its really only a few drops then nothing. I'd still change the oil as soon as possible.
An oil change is only ~$30. A new engine is ~$3,000.
If nothing else it's worth the peace of mind.

I have know a few old timers who add a quart of trans fluid 200 miles before a oil change to clean the motor
a few drops will do nothing
