He is the first man I dated in my state. I really care about him so much, I am always thinking about him 24/7 but I don't think he care about me the way I care about him. I want to leave but I really have feelings for him. I don't know what to do sometimes. He have 3 kids I have none, he is 42, I am 23.

Maybe you find security in his age, but you may find you have very little in common with this man who is old enough to be your dad. 10 months is long enough to hurt over him, but it is early enough to realize not to invest more time/ energy into someone who has no emotional return. Find someone your closer to your age, and start from scratch dating and learning about life together and when you are ready move on to big things like marriage etc. You are too young to worry about marriage and kids now. Enjoy your life!!! You are only 23 once!!

It's hard, but you have to move on. You're only 23 and there's TONS more fish in the sea! You can't make someone love you. He either does or he doesn't.
To get over the loss, I would highly recommend getting involved in a church or join a religious group. Not in a traditional church (they seem to be older or elderly) but find a Christian contemporary church. You never know....you might find "the one" there. If you can't find love and trust at church, then Heaven help us!

If he's not giving you the attention and affection you deserve perhaps you may want to ask yourself why you STAY. One-sided love is the most painful sort, and a man of 42 will not alter his behavior to meet your needs if he hasn't already.

your still young to have all that baggage move on.besides its hard to be a step mom at 23 if you dont even have your own kids if i was 23 without kids i would worry about what college iwas going to attend.

I FEEL BAD FOR YOU . I THINK YOU SHOULD GET OUT NOW. WHAT GOOD IS ANY RELATIONSHIP IF YOU DONT GET THE SAME IN RETURN THAT YOU GIVE.
