i'm 5ft 4in tall, about 150lbs, and i wear a 34DD bra. i want an open-backed dress that will 'tastefully' display my chest... so i think a halter-type dress is the way to go... but i'm in a VERY small town with only 2 formal dress shops so my choices are limited... i don't want a fancy-fancy dress cuz it's my 3rd wedding but i still want to look amazing...how expensive would it be to get exactly what i want made?

Check out Dreams by Renee http://www.dreamsbyreneebridal.com They have some absolutely gorgeous dresses PLUS they can make custom dresses based on drawings and/or pictures at reasonable prices!

Just to let you know, the prices listed on their site is suggested retail and since I am an authorized rep, I can offer discounts on all of their dresses. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Good luck!

I don't know where you live but if the dress makers in your town can't do the job, try a larger town near by.

My middle daughter is 5'1'' and wears a 36E bra. We went to a large bridal shop in a near by town when she got married last year. She picked out the wedding gown she fell in love with and they did a wonderful job of altering it for her. It cost a total of about $550.00. I didn't think it was a bad price considering it had a train and everything.
