Israel has every right to defend herself! We shouldn't have to sit quietly while our country is being attacked in every which way!

What kind of creatures get on a crowded bus, trying to kill as many as possible? What kind of monsters run into a pizza shop with the intention of m.urdering any women, children or anyone else around? Who kidnaps civilians and soldiers on a regular basis?

Why must our children live in fear?

Israelis are hard, stubborn and rude people because that's the only way we can survive this daily routine of experiencing d.eath close up; attending funerals of so many loved ones; surviving an attack by a s.uicide b.omber.

We kicked out THOUSANDS of families from their homes, some have been living in TENTS for the better part of a year now, just to quiet the arabs. What do we get for it? Rockets and missiles fired from that same land we gave them, deeper into Israel than ever before.
Everywhere you go in this country you see plaques in memory of the peopler who were m.urdered in that very spot. Enough is enough. We can't stay quiet any longer.

I don't expect everyone to understand, but if you just live in Israel for a little while, I'm sure you too will experience the same anxiety we do every time we see someone carrying a big black bag on the bus. You might feel the same way we do when we turn on the radio in the morning, just knowing something terrible has happened; just waiting to hear the names of those who were killed.

Just some more food for thought:

Hezbollah bombed the US marines barracks in Israel before. Israel has just had enough and made their move. I don't think regardless how many die you can stop a movement like this, they all hate each other too much. Where it will end, I have no idea, I just hope it doesn't get out of hand and other countries come in. If Syria is not soon recognized in this, I am fearful since they border Russia there could be much trouble to come for an area the size of New Jersey.

One of these days the arabs are going to have to state what they really want (besides the inevitable "wipe Israel off the map" which is just plain not going to happen, folks) and I fear they will have no idea.

Unfortunately none of the big players on the Arab side -- Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Palestinians in general -- have any idea what they're trying to accomplish. I guess as long as they can blame Israel for the problem du jour they're pretty happy with the status quo and we shouldn't look for them to stop picking fights anytime soon.

It should be ended, one side will win and one lose, it will end up being 100% Israel or 100% Arab. The PLO made it clear that they never wanted to deal with these people in a fair manner and wanted them all dead or expelled.

There is no reasoning with that type of logic so I side with the only side that makes since anti-PLO.

It's a good valid proof that their religion (and many others) is a downfall for any orderly and peaceful society. Any religion that blaintly defies the rules of it's own teaching shall be ruled out hypocritical and a threat to peace.

Back off and let the Israelies handle their own roblems. We, the US needs to quit trying to interfere with everyones elses problems. We have our own problems here that we need to take care of first.

Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and they hide their weapons of destruction amongst the residents of Beruit. Their only reason for existence is to destroy Israel.

My opinion is pretty simple, Hezbollah should be destroyed.
