Well if I were a man and were faced with that decision...no I wouldn't. Doing that would mean throwing away 40 years just for sexual pleasure. Do you really think having sex with her younger sister would be worth the pain and suffering you would cause your wife? Not to mention your children if you have any.
In no way shape or form would this be a good idea. If you love your wife and cherish the 40 years spent with her, don't do it.

First are you sure your not being set up by the lil sister?? Second if you have been with her for 40 years why throw all that away for a roll in the hay. She must be worth having since you kept her for 40 years. Think about it is the prize worth the consequences. Considering the whole family may alienate you forever. Not to mention the financial problems of divorce.

I hope the sex is worth it. My mother's sister married a man that my mom had been married to briefly a long time ago, and our family never really recovered from the rift.
