You were sweating--this means you were *not* dehydrated, at least not severely. If you were dehydrated, there wouldn't be enough free water in your body to make sweat. Dehydration can be very dangerous because it means you stop sweating, causing your body temperature to get very high very quickly. So you may have been hyperthermic (in the early stages of heat stroke), but you were not yet dehydrated.
To me it sounds more like you had an episode of hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. Do you have any problems with blood sugar normally, or had it been a long time since you had eaten anything? You should call your doctor to make sure that you don't have any problems with insulin function.

O lol, when i was little i had one of those faint moments...without the ventilation though lol. Its probably just the sun...you needa get some food or energy in your bod before you go and roast in the sun because the sun will just basically take advantage of you and killl your energy. Ive had a moment like this, one in Texas and another in Louisiana. Hope this helps, i know im not a physician but i have experience from it. After something like this happens you need to be pampered and "feed" alot of water...basically flushing your mouth with water lol, and just relax, and take a nap, both water and gatorade work, i know you wil strive for cold water, but room temperature water (water left in your pantry or something thats not refrigerated) will be easier to gulp down, and some gatorade for the sugar to get you back the energy you lost. Having someone pamper you is way better, it will get you back on your feet quicker...i dont know what it is like being by yourself with noone to be there for you ...casue i was a child lol, but i know it was a huge help. I think a little bit of twitching is ok. As long as this is not sso fatal to you than it will be ok. If you feel that you have more uncontrolable shaking outside of this insident you might want to check the doctor for sezuire medicine or a case like taht. Ask for medication and ask for CAT scans, the CAT scans just basically check the brain and they give you a result of the condition. Don't live in anxiety after this, dont pop energy pills or develop any other nervous reaction like that , just make sure that you may have got enough rest and enough energy such as potassium which is found in bananas, fruits and diffrent types of drink produce energy...also taking a warm soothing bath might highten relaxation and give you a boost in energy. I never visited a doctor after mine because i knew exactly what happened, i fainted because of heat and lack of energy, if you feel yours is the same case you might think about just being ok filling up with energy before hit any place where the sun just beams down on you non-stop, parks, beaches stuff like that. Do wahtever you would like (in the case of non-visiting or visiting a doctor).

You may have been dehydrated. Something like that is a result of too much UV rays and heat, but that's not the case. Next time you're in the sun/heat, avoid drinking lots of alcohol, drink TONS of water and when you have to, seek out some shade.

Two things occur to me, first your blood sugar dropped too low, the symptoms you describe fit this diagnosis. Second, heat prostration, but you don't say how hot it was at the time. I would definitely see the doctor and have blood tests run to check for adult onset diabetes, or for a tendency for hypoglycemia. In future, always keep, on your person, a source of sugar.

Had you eaten anything that day? It sounds like a combo of heat exhaustion and lack of food maybe. My daughter had a seizure after attending gymnastics in the heat one time. It was very scary but she was o.k
Best advice, go see dr. for a check up and talk to them about what happened to make sure your ok.
