the store is called sanrio. and i look on the web and ebay all the time but since hello kitty is made in japan they have more unique goods. which is why i asked specifically about japan. but thanks...

ebay is the best way to buy imported gifts! Check around the area if they have a china town!! Or any Asian import goods! i see alot of them in Boston, and i live in maine! so check it out!

There aren't very many real cats in Japan. Why? Because the Hello Kitty factory grinds up real live kittens to make Hello Kitty stuff. Stop the cruelty and boycott Hello Kitty!!!!

I have a friend that just came back from there and that was my first question to him.Was Hello Kitty Ever where? It's not a big thing over there .Only here,they make it but know one buys it there.Look up stores in Chinatown,New York.They sell alot of it.Good Luck!

just go to the hello kitty store. I forget what its called but here in Louisiana we have one. Atario, something like that. As you can see i know nothing about hello kitty. try google

No, When I went on my trip EVA air was selling some of those. I bougth a hello kitty for a cellular phone. They are cute.
