perhaps if you were asking a question, we could answer it. I find that the more intelligent my questions are, the less haters show up to answer them. And then, I don't have to read a bunch of garbage, to find the answers. See? Simple!

If you want valid arguments, look around. Gas prices higher than ever, war in the Middle East, largest federal defecit EVER, cuts being made in education, arts and environmental areas.

Compare this to the last administration, when we had peace, a budget surplus, many species were removed from the endangered list, inflation was tolerable and the economy was stable.

Democrats rarely say they "hate" anyone. They are, however, very upset about the way things are going and can't wait to get Bush (and all the others) out of office.

P.S. Mister "think for themselves" can't even spell the name of his party. Way to go.

The deficit is NOT less than when Clinton was in power. Where did you hear that? We had a surplus of billions (if not trillions) of dollars. Also, you can adjust gas prices to inflation and argue that they are lower, but you are adjusting them to inflation that has risen more quickly due to the current president. Besides, comparing gas prices to the 70's doesn't do much good, since that was wartime as well, also none of our business, also brought on by a Republican president.

With regard to healthcare, sick people are turned away from hospitals every single day. Even if they accept you, they will bill you and pester you until you lose your house or declare bankruptcy.

I'm a conservative republican, and I'd like to see Bush gone.

He got the conservative vote but now he's going tax-and-spend crazy. Budget deficit is climbing and he could care less. This is not a republican way to do things.

Republicans are strong believers in the Constitution. Bush ignores it and he's just fine with these illegal searches & wiretaps. He's also not standing up to defend the people who were arrested & held but not charged. The government claims they're "war criminals" but treason or not, they cannot be held without being charged or being allowed to see a lawyer.

Republicans are also good at stimulating growth & the economy. Regan (a great republican) did this with his Trickle Down Economics, and the economy boomed. Bush isn't doing anything to spur growth. He's allowing more H1B visas & offshoring, taking lots of skilled jobs away from Americans. The only jobs that are being created are things like Walmart cashiers. And now interest rates are creeping up but with no improvement in jobs, homes are not affordable and the housing market is collapsing.

Bush isn't looking out for the best interests of you or I. Only people he seems to be helping are people like the bigwigs at Exxon Mobil.

I have spoken to a few Liberals who have some valid arguments (I don't agree with them but they are valid). I don't like to generalize any particular group and say things like all, or none, any, or every. Now that being said I have seen very few valid points being made. I do see a lot of hatred of the president with no suggestions as to what he should do.

I'm against everything that Bush stands for and does.

- He believes in manipulating the public with propaganda in order to control the masses. Hitler believed the same yet he claims to Christian. The Christian faith believes in honesty and truth.
- He is a false Christian. He was hired by his father in 1988 to learn how to 'sound' Christian in order to win the evangelical vote.
- He knowingly lied to the American ppl in the state of the union speech about Iraq's WMDs.
- He has destroyed my country's high level of respect all around the world. Now ppl actually hate us instead of admire us.
- He has ignored my country's laws and disobeyed the constitution repeatedly.
- He has used retention to have prisoners tortured which is a war crime and violation of the Geneva convention.
- He is flat out an immoral man with an evil spirit. He believes in lies, deceit and power.

How ppl believe this man is a Christian is beyond me.

I hate Bush because he's all politics and no policy. Everything he does is for a photo-op, nothing gets carried out, cronies get sweet patronage jobs at the taxpayer's expense, he flouts the Constitution, he's thrown up his hands on Iraq for the next President to worry about, and writes off a growing majority of the American people as "irrelevant".

Time was, back in 2000 before Bush came to office, America was on top of the world. Now we're 14th in Internet speed, we can't fix levees in our own country, we don't make anything anymore. Brazil is going energy independent, Japan has cell phones that work on subways, other countries lead in stem cell research--America should be the leader in that.

The number one issue in America isn't terrorism. It isn't the War in Iraq. It's not the enviroment or illegal immigration on their own. It's not abortion or stem cell research. It's not gay marriage and it sure as hell isn't flag burning. The number one issue in America is that we're all getting f*cked in the a*s by the upper one percent. Ask yourself how much you saved in Bush's tax cut this year. I saved five dollars and I'll bet dollars to doughnuts I'm in a higher bracket than rmisbach who posted this question. Now much more do you pay for gas in one week? How much of your paycheck gets eaten up by medical insurance? I pay through the nose for just one prescription and I'm still young and in decent health. I'll bet rmisbach is covered through a parent's policy if he really has insurance. God forbid Grandma wants to save fifty bucks a month on her prescriptions because Bush will seize her heart medicine at the Canadian border. Where are the decent paying jobs going? Overseas or to illegal immigrants. The nation is taking a beating from hurricanes and other natural disasters brought on by global warming. The government can monitor your phone calls and break into your house whenever it damn well feels like. The minimum wage hasn't been raised in a decade and Bush pushes elimination of the estate tax which applies to the1.17% of us worth more than three million dollars.

I could go on all night, but I don't think rmisbach really wanted a answer. He just wanted to ask a rhetorical question in a salvo of what he thinks is a cultural war --"TAKE THAT LIBBIES!". He thinks it's macho to align yourself with hard right politics, so it's the only way he feels like a man. It's easy to say stuff like that from the comfort of the computer in Mom's basement, but my guess is he's a fat slob who's never gotten laid.

I'm a liberal and here is my argument (I've written this in another post)
my views on Iraq and the wmds.
There were never any wmds and the president knows it, it was just something used to gain support for the invasion of Iraq, do you honestly think that if the president knew that Iraq had wmds he would have sent a ground invasion force to Iraq , such an action against a country that has wmds would have instilled unacceptable losses of our troops cause if Saddam had wmds he would have used them against us since he knows he would be tried for his crimes against the Kurds and he has nothing to lose, and if history teaches us anything countries with nukes dont get invaded why dont you think anyone has done anything about Israel , i mean they have nukes and they have defide tons of u.n. resolutions.

Don't forget overuse of the "N" word (Nazi) Most of them just repeat the mindless drivel that's been forced down their throats through the anti-American media and don't even know why they hate President Bush. It's more of the cool thing to do than a political statement.

If most of them could think for themselves you wouldn't have had to post this question.

How about the fact that this country is now trillions in debt and not too long ago there was a surplus? How about peace vs. war?

Considering what Bush has done to the country and the world, hating him IS patriotic.
