Mine are not together. They have been "separated" for 21 years. Mom just recently got the divorce finalized so she could re-marry. She had been with the other guy for 20 years.....
Guess she finally decided to stop shacking up.

My biological parents have been apart since I was around 10 years of age, my mother remarried to my stepfather when I was 15 and my dad remarried before and then got another divorce, however he has been with the same person for about seven years now.
I think that I was blessed by having so many other loving parents in my life, and that I was not to scared from how badly my biological parents faught when they were around one another.
I am working on keeping me and my other half together so that my children have their biological parents together...

Mine are together for 29 years. Grandparents, the ones still living have been together for 54. The ones not living were together for over 30 years before they died.
Amazing how things like parents loving one another makes a difference in ones life.... I know what I look for in the future, based on what was set as my example...
I unfortunately know this goes both ways...

My parents divorced when I was 2. Both remarried, Mom once, Dad several times.
My husband and I have been together almost 18 years and have a teenage son. I have noticed that he is the only one within his circle of friends whose parents are not divorced.

Not mine, they divorced after 18 years and it was my fathers second marriage (which we didn't find out until we were grown up) they both remarried but my mother passed away years ago, luckily though she got to spend the last years of her life married to a really wonderful man and my father also remarried and got just what he deserved!

My parents separated 20 years ago, after having been married 20+ years. Technically, they are not divorced but live in different flats and lead separate lifes. (Don't live in the States).
My in-laws are still married after 45+ years.

I'm 28, my parents are still married. They've been married for 31 years. It is getting rarer and rarer to see it seems.
It also seems to me that couples with both sets of parents still together seem to have a better chance of lasting.

Mine are together, 33 years of marriage. But they live in a different country; it's possible that they would be divorced by now if they lived in the US!
