Bradbury's stories are brilliant. He comes up with some great concepts and really makes you think. Conceptually, I think he is the better of the two.
Vonnegut, though, really knows how to turn a phrase. Every sentence is a joy to read and even though his concepts might not be as innovative as Bradbury's, his writing style is certainly the more brilliant.

They are both really good. I guess somebody would have to read "The Sirens of Titan" to really get a grip on the kind of guy Kurt Vonnegut is.
Fahrenhiet 451, The Illustrated Man...all that stuff from the 60s that got made into movies is all classic, too. for all the Ray Bradbury fans...

Depends on my mood.
Bradbury's writing is almost poetic at times because he uses so much asonance, consonance, and alliteration. I'm thinking specifically of "Dandelion Wine" here. Bradbury's approach is more personal; not only are there aliens, but they're just like us. The tiniest details are important.
Vonnegut tends to deal with larger issues. Are those big brains of ours really useful if they cause so much destruction in the end? There is, for Vonnegut, a larger plan and details all fit into that plan.

Bradbury for "real" sci-fi. Vonnegut tends to have an odd view(though quite accurate in Slaughterhouse Five) of things down here

2 names spring to concepts: British author J. G. Ballard and varnish author Stanislaw Lem (in basic terms in Michael Kandel's translations). as a results of fact like Vonnegut and Bradbury, they used the technology fiction medium to describe guy from unusual angles.
