I'm having a problem with my personnel file.
I'm being repremanded at work for days I've missed due to a disability. I asked for a copy of my personnel file, and while they have the letter of discipline in there, they do not have my signed slips for sick days or vacation days coinciding with the letter.
Also, last year because of the discovery of my disability, I was offered and took 6 weeks of short term disability. There is NO record of this whatsoever in the file. Is there any action I can take? I just want my boss off my back over missing days that they don't even have slips signed by me for.

Talk to the labor board. It sounds to me like they are being very careful in the way they're screwing you. Your state's labor board should have some sort of assistance for you. Labor claims are often designed to be litigated without an attorney. There should be plenty of resources there to get you on your way.

That having been said, keep in mind that labor law is a specialty. Speak with a labor attorney immediately. Find out what your rights are and what you need to be doing to protect yourself. It sounds like your bosses are setting you up for something. Don't let them.
