Can any one give a good information on the laws in Michigan regarding emancipation.?

A young man of 16 needs help to leave his home. his father is abusive and takes the childs paychecks. I feel he is in danger due to his parents drug issues. He needs to leave the home yesterday. emancipation is an avenue to consider if it is available in MI.

It is available in MI, but you need to go to the web...www.michigan.gov
