Ok, I love this look myself and wasn't too sure how to answer this, since I haven't perfected the look, so I decided to look it up. In a nutshell, this is what to do and I've provided the link for more indepth details.

You'll need:
* Foundation (to keep eyeshadow in place)
* 2 Shadows: One light, one darker
* Eyeliner
* Mascara

1. Prep the lid with foundation for your base to keep eyeshadow in place and keep it from smudging
2. Apply eyeliner on the top lid with a thicker line in the middle
3. Blend in color on bottom lashes using a lighter eyeliner and smudging it (buy an eyeliner with the "smudger" attached for ease). Also apply a bit of eyeshadow for a more dramatic effect.
4. Apply light base color of eyeshadow first on top lid.
5. Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease
6. Doublecheck your work and see that your eyes match. Use a Q-tip for quick fixes or blending.
7. Finish with several coats of volumizing mascara

*Also, make sure to keep your lips nude when using this look to keep the focus on your eyes.

I'd like to add that it's probably best to practice this trick a few times on your night in so that you're not frantically wiping your eyes when you make a mistake and smearing dark makeup all over your face, lol. Also, check out your local makeup store for eyeshadow compacts that have multiple shades of the same color, perfect for blending. I recently bought a few and their great!

I hope this helped and good luck!

Definitely! But preserve to the earth tones taupe, chocolate, wooded area vegetables. And use a well first-class, mineral established shadow and eye liner as those may also be managed as to depth by way of layering. If you wish to preserve it softer and extra sheer simply brush on flippantly. To construct depth upload extra layers of shadow. Keep your liner nearly the bottom of the lash and use a darker shadow alongside the eyelash base most sensible and backside to create the smoky seem. Mineral established shadows also are simpler to combination to create that smoky seem.

this is the easiest way to do it:
start with putting shadow on the whole lid (use whatever color but grey or brown is usually best)
put a darker shadow in the crease of your upper eye lid and blend well
line the upper and lower lids right against the lashes
use a sponge tip shadow applicator and some eyeshadow the same shade as the eyeliner you used and trace over the line and smudge..
if you want, you can put eyeliner in the inner eye lid
put on mascara

there you go!

ok....first thing is pick a light color and a darker color,,cover your whole eyelid up to the brow with the light color(if you put the light color on the lid it makes the darker color stick)...then tip the brush into the dark color preferebly black,or gray...slant the brush and paint upwards just omn the lid though then casually blend for the smokey look and then line the bottom lashed with the black or gray use a small brush though curl lashes and use the wand vewrticle instead of horizontal it makes your lashes look longer and thicker

use a tinted whitey-grey eyeshadow colour on the inside of your eyelid, then gradually make it blend into black eyeshadow.
Add some liquid eyeliner to make it really stand out.
