go on line and look for co.s that deal with removel what thay use is a fiber glass rap that is the same stuff cast for broken bones is you dip in water then wrap. you have to wear a resporator to deal with the asbestos dust.

This is no small task, health wise. In many areas it's against the law for you to remove it yourself.

Asbestos is know to cause cancer. Just having it in your house is hazardous. Make the right decision on this one!!

wrap them with a coil of fiberglass sill sealer, then tape it tight.
