it is not really his choice, he is only 12.....talk to him and if he keeps doing it, find a way to tell on him so that he won't know it was you, he may need the adult help to stop before it becomes a huge problem.

second, it sounds like you are both quite young. While I'm an advocate for it's legalization, I'm not in favor of free access of it to all ages. Whoever is providing it to him should be turned in, those selling to minors makes the legalization that much harder.
