dear HK princess:
It is normal.
Contraceptives contain amall amounts of estrogens, and if You stop taking them abruptly, the inner layer of the matrix (Womb) detaches, causing a "false period" with colic pains, upsetting bleeding and all.
You must wait until the bleeding stops by itself, and recontinue Your pills in the next period,
Cout this as a "missing period" and use a new box of pills for the next cycle.
Yours incerely

That happened to me. I was bleeding before I took my pills, and after I stopped the bleeding started up again. Sometimes birth control pills act as a period regulator...so I think it's normal. But that's just my opinion. You should probably call a doctor's office or the hospital and see if you can talk to someone about it to make sure.

Yes, you had a withdrawal bleed when you stopped taking the pills. You have to take them continuously for three weeks, then stop for a week so you can have a period. Once the bleeding has stopped, go back on. Good luck!

Yes that is normal. Your cycle is probably going to be off until you get on you next round of pills. You also better use backup if you are trying to prevent a pregnency.
