Well, first of all you should use a liquid foundation because powder wont cut covering scarring. Second, make up will never cause more breakouts unless you leave it on too long. You need to put a moisturizer on your face before all your makeup to keep the pours clear. Then at night you need to take the make up off with makeup remover, then use an oil remover/acne preventant such as stridexx pads then use a non oil based face moisturizer made specifically for the night such as Night of Olay, which is what I use... I never break out.. the key to not breaking out is keeping your face clean when you wake up and before you go to bed... and as for covering the scars.. they'll be there its hard to cover up it all but liquid is your best bet.. dont go too heavy or else you trade the scarring for a fake makeupy look.

The ONLY makeup that will do what you want is Bare Minerals. After you apply it with the kabuki brush, take your concealer brush and dot on more and more over your scars until they are covered. Then apply your cheek color and then use the Mineral Veil for a flawless look. Other than that I cannot think of any makeup but PanCake or PanStick by Max Factor. Use a latex sponge to pat the PanStick on because it is heavy. If you are young you can get away with that but guys hate tons of makeup.

Try dermablend or mineral foundation. Mineral foundation gives good coverage and feels like your wearing nothing at all. A foundation primer is key to keep make up on and will help with the break-outs...Check with a beauty counter but I am thinking a yellow undertone foundation or concealer will counteract the purple scar tone. Set foundation with a light dusting of powder....

I personally use Bare Minerals from id bareessentuals. They are expensive but very much worth it. It's all mineral, natural resources. I only use their foundation and mineral veil. I use clinique as my regular make up (blush, eyeshadow, etc) but the bare minerals is wonderful for my face...it covers your face, is very light. There are nights where I sleep with my make up on and have yet to have a break out in the year and a half I've been wearing it. You can buy it online or through the home shopping network, at Sephora or at Ulta. Believe me, it's worth it.

use a concealer from a dependable brand such as clinique, then powder over them. do not do your whole face though because too much will clog your pores. if the concealer looks too blotchy, however, powder your entire face but use a loose powder, not a compact. make sure you remove it all at night with a makeup remover.

Go to the Dermatologist!! they have great makeup (Dermablend) especially designed for scars that will minimize the appearance of it so it looks like you have flawless skin, its even waterproof.

first, use a scar removing product. then put on the foundation. so you wont need as much, and you wont break out as much. wash your face twice a day. i suggest MAC, it covers up the most, but it;s really heavy so you have to remember to wash your face.

Try Dermablend or Exuviance, both sold at Ulta 3. You can try them on there too.
