The low post is in the area of the block to the basket, the high post is anything outside of that, usually at the elbows. I play low post. Usually its the center or power forwards that are down there.

i am a low post .. its where your like on the block down by the hoops .. right outside the lane on offense .. on D your any where under the basket if your in zone .. if you on man to man D then you just fallow another low post everywhere it goes and make shore he dont get the ball
