One reason is because all of those businesses have one thing in common. They can be run successfully by a family and many Indian families have strong family values.

They smart and they can get the gas cheaper from there cousin. Hotels and motels are easy for them to get cause the Bush administration is on their side. They let Bush freak off at one of the hotels for free they can can keep buying hotels and motels tax free.

Well that is because our nation is so great, they can come over here start a business and do not have to pay any taxes for seven years and before their seven years are up they sell to another family member and the cycle starts over,Then they can start up another business and do the same thing over and over,until the whole family has their own business.

This almost seems like a sterotype, but it does seem like many people of Indian decent do own these types of businesses.

Sometimes immigrants find something they like to invest in and spread the word in their communities. Where I live, there are a lot of vietnamese owned furniture stores.
