Yesterday, Israeli jets bombed the third Lebanese dairy farm to oblivion, machinery and cows included. This is the thrid dairy farm, all in Christian areas, being bombarded. Is my title question a plausibe explanation? Can nobody tell me the Lebanese brought it upon themselves? You're wasting your time. I'd like someone to try and explain how this might be defense or even deterrance. I will give the ten points to anyone who might provide a legitimate excuse for Israel, but Lebanon brought this upon itself won't do. That is an attempt to excuse not to explain. I don't need to hear how it is a normal response for having received rockets, even though Israel withdrew and respected International law, nor do I want: all of Lebanon should pay for Hezbollah. I need to know how that protects Israel from people who honestly believe that all Israel is doing is protecting itself and not being spiteful. You also must be informed enough to know that Christian areas will never help Hezbolla

Well, Jim, sorry, but you're not informed, if not uneducated enough. Lebanon does not officially endorse Hezbollah's actions. It is not governed by a Saddam. Israel knows full well, although you don't, that there is no way in hell any Christian is going to allow Hezbollah near their business. So, I still have no explanatio.
BTW, everyone today against Israel's violent disproportionate retaliation acknowledges what I did. I'm tired of hearng that Israel withdrew and Hezbollah provoked them as being ANY justification for the destruction of Lebanon. IDIOTS only think all the Lebanese support Hezbollah or even that Llebanon has not been for two years now trying to disarm them and build a strong government free of Syrian influence.

Israel by hurting the whole country is lumping all of the Lebanese together. More and more Lebanese, as a result, are becoming anti-Israeli.
So why bomb the dairy farms? And they are dairy farms.

The cows are not armed but the trees are.

Hezbollah is using Viet Cong-style guerrilla warfare out of hundreds of small bunkers scattered across the country. In addition, Hezbollah borrowed camouflage techniques that the Japanese used in the 1945 Iwo Jima battle. In the first ten days of the war, therefore, the Israeli air force bombed out empty Hizballah premises in South Beirut and Baalbek, but missed the moving woods and vegetation which concealed the rocket launchers.

Hezbollah deliberately operates military wings out of densely populated areas to maximize Lebanese casualties. It seems that Hezbollah wants to maximize civilian casualties on BOTH sides. Hezbollah maximizes Israeli civilian casualties when they launch Syrian and Iranian designed antipersonnel missiles with ball-bearing shrapnel.

The war began at Hezbollah's time and choosing. Military analysts say that the way the Israel-Hezbollah war has been prosecuted up until Monday, July 24, is more likely to bring Nassrallah closer to his war objectives than Olmert.

This is exactly like the Iraqi claim that the allies bombed baby food factories. This is also like the claim that the US blew up hospitals.

In Iraq, a factory was destroyed because it was producing components for bio-chemical agents. To drum up support for Iraq and anti-US sentiment, they claimed that it was a food plant, which it may have at one time been, but not any longer.

Similarly, when insurgents took over an abandoned hospital, the US forces took military action against them. Like before, the building used to be a hospital, but it was not being used for that purpose at the time.

These dairy farms may have been taken over by military forces, and while the cows may have still been present, the building was no longer strictly a dairy farm.

As far as being "educated enough," please take the time and educate yourself. As I have noted previously, anyone who thinks that this or any other conflict has a basis in religions or faiths needs to learn history. Land, Land, Land, Land, and money are the top 5 motivations in global conflict.

At least you readily acknowledge that Israel was withdrawing and in compliance with "International Law" when they fell under unprovoked attack.
