Ahhh... the wonderful world of retail! Two years of working with the public and it was enough to make me want to become a hermit for the rest of my life, move to a deserted island, and order all my groceries from the internet! In my experience, customers top complaints come from any form of inconvenience. If they are set back in any way immediately it becomes the complete responsibility of the store and its employees. If lines are too long, if a product is out of stock, if something was discontinued, if a price ticket was incorrect, if a product they purchased was flawed, if any number of things are putting them out in some way it immediately becomes a complaint. Its irritating because they can never see the reverse side of the story. They cannot realize that lines are long because they came in the door in the middle of rush hour, or a product is out of stock because hurricanes in the south keep it from being shipped, an item was discontinued because it wasn't selling, the price ticket is not incorrect they just grabbed an item that the sign specifically stated was not included in the sale, their item was flawed because of a manufacture error not at any fault of the store. I think everyone should be required to work in retail at least one year of their life, just so they can understand how nauseating people's self-centered habits tend to be!

- Being charged the incorrect amount.

- Faulty products.

- Horrible staff/poor service.

Prime example: Best Buy has a zillion employees but they only have 1 person on the registers. So you get help on the sales floor but not at check out because you are in the line behind 7 people!
