Just adding my yes to the many already stated. I am one of them and a large percentage of my friends are not fat or overweight. I believe it depends on where you are looking in the US, what the percentage of women are over weight. However, if you wanted to split straws, American could refer to Central and South America, in addition to the US and Canada.

Lots of them. Just because you turn 40 doesn't mean you pack on the pounds. Look at Hollywood and see how many actresses are in shape. Alot of my neighbors are over 40 and are in perfect shape.
Try not to be so close-minded.

Hmmm..We are a society that seems to overindulge, arn't we? I work in a plus-size clothing store, that seems to be my thoughts everyday. Have you noticed the fatter they get, the bitchier they get..good luck
