why do ppl say they suck, when they won the superbowl!! it shows how many ppl are stupid..haha. Steleers do not suck if they won the superbowl. They only reason why ppl say they suck is becuase they are mad and jealous. Sry to say, but its true. Plus its my opinon.

the Steeler franchise is the best owned and operated team in the league. the Rooneys will forever be my heroes and people look at that and see how their team goes through a new coach every other year while the Steelers are so consistant and it's pure jealousy. The Steel City (including the Steelers) has always had this reputation and sort of all-powerful atmosphere the everyone else is intimidated by. The Steel Curtain era was a golden age for the town and that's something that no true football fan will ever forget...even if it happened before they were born like me. In short-the glory that they earned and the respect they deserve are just too much for some people to handle. (*ahem*like cleveland fans)

Usually people hate winning teams like the Yankees or even the Patriots cause everyone is tired of seeing them win. The Steelers were the total underdogs in the post-season so almost everyone cheered for them so I think people say they suck because they are looking at the Steelers like people look at the Yankees. It really just proves their football ignorance.
The Steelers didn't have home field advantage once in their entire Superbowl run and brought it home. That has never happened before. Anyone who says they suck doesn't know what they are talking about.

OK...I'm a Seahawks fan and I can tell you why I feel that they aren't as good as they think they are (and it doesn't have anything to do with the officiating of the Super Bowl!).
"Big Ben" just plain isn't that good. He played very poorly in the Super Bowl and the 2005 AFC Championship Game as well. They also are poorly coached. Cowher doesn't think well on the fly and gets into ruts in how he coaches (too many consecutive runs, too many consecutive passes, too conservative, too agressive).
They are a great ballclub...that's the truth...but they are champions more because other teams failed than because they achieved.
