Have you lost a loved one? If so, tell us who, and what you would like to say to them if you could.

I've been pretty lucky - haven't lost many. It would be nice to see my Dad again and let him know how much I have become like him, even though I swore I never would! LOL

I tell my dead grandpa stuff all the time. And I always make it a habit to tell people I care about that I love them before I leave or get off the ohone, that way if I never see them again the last thing I said to them won't be "oh, f*ck you, what do you know?" it will be "oh **** you, what do you know, anyways, i've gotta go, I love you".

I would tell them, whoever the are, not to fear, to find a new game with positive energy and to keep creating. If you feel like telling your Dad something, thanking him, whatever, you should just do it, ok. Whenever he comes to your mind, your attention or thoughts, just respond to that by letting him know.

I know it seems like talking to yourself, but we all talk to ourselves anyway, it's no crime. Why not bring others to the party.

Now, we all know about the nutcases who are walking around talking to themselves and others who "aren't there".

Here's the difference, and get the difference ok. If you're gonna "talk" to these people who are "passed on", then only talk to them in the NOW. In other words, do not recreate past conversations, saying the things that you "should" have said. This has more to do with acting out any regrets you may have.

So communicate whatever to whomever, just as long as you do it in and from the present. You need to move on and so do they.
Keep good happy thoughts and wish all concerned the best.

Does this make sense to you? I hope it helps.

Here in NC, the kids just lost one of the best teachers ever. I know he's not family, but he was an influence on those who's lives he touched. I just finished writing an email to him, thanking him for everything he had meant to me while I was his student. He helped form who I am today. I would love to have been able to tell him the things I wrote. To me, it was like I lost my big brother.

I lost my mother 18 yrs ago.........There are times I wish I could just see her and tell her how much she is missed today. I would have so many questions to ask and get her opinion on. She was not only my mother but my best friend and councilor. I wish I could hear my mother pray again as she did when I was a child.
My site to her:

I've lost all of my grandparents, and I guess I would just tell them thank you for being there. Their love and support lives on within me.

The point is moot. You can go back in time to do this.
