XoftSpy is a great program that fixes all adware, viruses, and other malicious code. First time I ran it, it found 68 problems.

I'm afraid a certain amount is inevitable; Windows is stuffed with them and most programs you install also heve them, they seem to stick around after you install.
Try turning off system restore and run Ad-Aware SE Personal and Ewido in Safe Mode. That will clean out all that its possible to do; after that my best tip is to run Ad-Aware SE Personal BEFORE you log on to the internet...that way it will pick them all up and remove them and they won't be able to dial out. Neat, huh?

Remember to turn off System Restore as it will be hiding in there and will re-install itself. You need a dedicated anti trojan or anti ad ware, an antivirus such as AVG won't touch it. They are different programs.
To get into safe mode, repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads, if you don't manage it first time just restart and try again.
Safe mode looks very different and not all your programs will load but don't worry, its supposed to do that. The screen will run at 800 x 600. The scans will take a bit longer so just leave it to get on with it.

Try programs like AdAware or Spybot Search and Destry. Run them when you first start up your computer, each one will catch most of the problems, but each will miss something that the other one catches.

hi, firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox can edit easily what to block and what to popup.
