Hello??!! Are you referring to Kuala Lumpur International Airport? If yes, it really is not a good thing to take a taxi from KLIA to Singapore. You know why? It's far far far away, as in, several hours and hundreds (almost thousands) of kilometers. Travelers usually take the train from KL to Singapore, which costs around US$50. If you take the taxi, you might end up paying up to US$300 bucks or more.

Regular flights out of KL International Airport (Sepang) to Singapore (Changi) Airport are relatively cheap. You can buy the tickets at the airport for the regular shuttle (I think there is one every 1 hour or more frequent) and should cost about RM150 -200 each way (US 40-55). Both Malaysian Airlines (MAS) and Singapore Airways (SIA) will have shuttle flights. Tiger Air does not do the journey, nor does any other discount airlines.
Alternative would be to take a coach from KL city centre, but taxi from KLIA to KL centre costs about US 20 anyway!

Distance between KL airport (KLIA) to Singapore is about 300km. The taxis at KLIA are not allowed to enter Singapore. There are a few alternatives. There're shuttle flights between KLIA and Singapore (Changi Airport) which cost about RM220 or say US$60 one way. The flights depart every hour and you can buy tickets over the counter. Flight time is about 30 minutes. From Changi Airport you can take a taxi to Singapore center for a flat rate of S$30 (about US15).
However, if you are not pressed for time, you can take the shuttle bus from KLIA to KL center and get on a coach to Singapore. The whole journey can take you close to 8 hours, especially if you're not familiar with KL.
I would highly recommend you take the shuttle flight option.

KLIA to Singapore by taxi is not a good way to travel. The two cities are exactly 250 miles apart. I suggest that on arrival at KLIA go to AirAsia desk and ask for a flight to Senai in Johor Baru which is just across the causeway from Singapore. A bus ride from Senai airport to Singapore costs only about USD10. Good luck.
Btw, why go to Singapore at all. KL is much better. Stay in KL and forget Singapore.

Hi, it is best you find alternate transportation than taxi to Singapore from KLIA. I would recommend that you go to the KL town centre and take the express bus to Singapore for about US15 and it is about 4hr ride. Distance is about 300+km from KLIA to Singapore.
Likewise, take the express bus to KL and then the cab to KLIA. Save you lots. Unless you are in such a hurry, you will need to fork out much if you want to retain the cab for the return trip too.

OK... paying USD$300 for a trip to Singapore is crap.
Maybe RM300, no where near USD$300. it is actually nearer from KLIA to Singapore, because KLIA is south of Kuala Lumpur (KL) city, it is about 45 minutes drive from KL city centre. Singapore being south of Malaysia it would save u approximately one and a half hour for the extra distance of going up north then back south again. But, then again, i would suggest you go into the city for a breather then take a cab or coach to Singapore, it will be definitely cheaper. don't ask me why it is cheaper for a longer distance (this is Malaysia).

the previous solutions are spot on, besides the undeniable fact that there is a 2d terminal at KL generic as LCCT it is 20 km's by highway from the numerous airport and is not any longer linked to KL by the quick prepare. the purely thanks to get to KL is by bus or taxi. if you're flying with AirAsiaX all their flights pass to the LCCT (low value terminal) besides as another low priced airways. The bus is less expensive, about 10 RGT yet continuously agree on a cost for the taxi beforehand you go away the terminal.

umm, fly, singapore may border malaysia, but it is a long way from KL.
You might be getting confused. A lot of people fly to singapore if they are going to southern parts of malaysia, but no-one flies to KL if they are going to singapore.
