I'm not hating or being racist cause i'm a black woman but i would love to see one of my famous brothers wit a chocolate or dark chocolate woman on his arm ya know! Really I think it is society me and my sister were talking about it people hold light skin women higher than blacker women. Which is just wrong a good example is of the Sudanese model she is so beautiful black is a beautiful as any other color. I wish they should darker sistas getting acting roles and getting married to who ever they want. I hate the fact that Halle Berry is supposed to be the hottest black woman. Nope I do not think so she is fine but there is no such thing as the most beautiful person. Anyway my sister and I came to the conclusion that society influence's weak minds in decisions like this that are person.

There are plenty of, (so called successful) black men that are dark complextioned with dark complextioned wives. But the ones that have light complextioned women it could be the case as you stated, (status symbol). But it could be many reasons why black men choose lighter skin women when they become successful.
I'm ole school and as the saying goes, the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice.

before each and every thing i do not forget that being "blended" as you call it does no longer mean that you're able to have mild pores and skin purely as a lot as being totally "black" does no longer mean you'd be darkish. Its purely an assumption human beings make. yet that does no longer mean that each and every man or woman makes that assumption. in my opinion i do not care what coloration you or everybody else is (we are all created in yet differently for a reason). i'm no longer gonna sit round searching on the tone of human beings's pores and skin and sweetness in the experience that they are organic black or blended or although, it is your own organization. I easily have an Aunt who's blended she has a white mom and a black dad and he or she is darker than the ace of spades, so that you do not might want to be mild to be blended and also you do not might want to be darkish to be organic black. Its all on your genetic make up. So if someone makes the perception that mild skinned blacks are blended staggering them yet don't be harsh. some human beings do exactly not understand.

what do you mean light skin women? these women they are marrying are black not white.
every athlete does not do this you have to open your eyes or maybe its these women who which lurks them.
you never hear light skinned black women and dark men only l
dark skin black men with light skinned black women or light skin women of another ethnic group.

I think it's more of an attraction issue. Most I think believe light skin women are more attractive than darker or white. Since these celebrities probably have no problem getting women, they can date lot's of women they find attractive, most likely will find one they are compatible to and marry her...

I thnk its time to just be happy for people when they find someone they love. If its not someone of their own race there is no need for anyone to be angry or jealus.
