Saying anything that may slightly be true induces cries of anti-Americanism from right wing bigots. They, for their part, see nothing wrong with personal abuse, blind loyalty, bigotry and hate.

A certain cretinous fool, I think called GWB, has already threatened the world with that comment, doesn't take much for the sheep that follow him to adopt that mentality.

I stating the facts is not Anti-American but the people who want to blindly believe propaganda without evidence to back it up will react with anger when they are confronted with facts that interfere with their blind loyalty to a lost cause.

AA the 12 step program is a pack of lies masquerading as "Divine paradoxes"
try pointing out the crazy making contradictions to a loyalist AA-er like Liza Minnelli or Naomi Campbell.... and see what kind of reaction you get.... that will get you some real irrational gibberish.

Just because you have a thought or an idea, or have been fed one, does not mean that you are then spouting the truth. If what you say is Anti-American then it should be labeled such no matter how many names you call people for shining the light on you. And frankly if something is only "slightly true," it ISN'T.

First of all what facts are you referring to? seem to be a bit generic. The 2nd part of your statement is true on the part of both parties to a certain extent. Grouping everyone on the right into one category is as fair as doing it on the left. Ask questions about the facts you are referring to.

That is why when answering an earlier question I made references to the beginnings of the Nazi party in the 1930's. There is a wave of hysteria that is sweeping the country that is defined as the "you're either with us or against us" mentality, dangerous stuff.

I love freedom of speech. People that get offended about certain topics consider it anti-American, but when they feel passionate about there ideas they expect everyone to listen. Some people in this country are a bunch of hypocrites.

Because some Americans believe that the truth doesn't matter, that its more important to do the moral, patriotic or religious thing, whatever it may be. That's why they are conservatives, because they don't believe in being open-minded, they believe in archaic traditions and ideals that are detrimental to society.

HERE IS MY FREE SPEECH : Your opinion is just that, an opinion. Your "truth" is not what everyone believes and to be quite frank you seem to have a superiority complex. I tend to agree with the poster above that your "truths" are only in YOUR tiny misguided mind. Ta Ta

'anti-american' has become the 'because i said so' arguement for the right wing. it's a ludicrous statement that's completely undefinable. perhaps you should counter with 'alright, then i'm taking my ball and leaving'. seems to be the only level they understand.
