This question is for those who graduated from college and are in a career position.

What was your major in college? Does your current career go with your major? Why or Why not? If your current career doesn't go with your major, do you intend to eventually do something in your field of study?

I studied in Stanford University, i was major in computer engeneer but right now I'm a movie director. My minor was performing art as well. As you can see, major is not necessary your future career.

Graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA. Yes, my career goes with my major, but there is SO much "real world" knowledge that is learned on the job; my education isn't that relevant most of the time.

I am an engineer at a car compnay
I majored in Mechanical Engineering as an undergraduate
Although I do not calculate huge equations very often (which is what I mostly did in undergrad school) I learned the language and values I would need to understand the world i work in
I am pretty happy how it turned out

my major was general education. it goes with any career. you always use it.
