You should leave your earrings in for at least 6-8 weeks making sure to clean them 2-3 times a day. After the 8 weeks you should only wear studs for the next 6 months. I work at Claire's where I pierce ears and these are the after care procedures we follow.

Usually about 5 weeks. When I got my ears peirced I had to wait for 4 weeks

Our daughter just got hers pierced last weekend. She was told to wait 8 weeks. Be sure to turn them and clean them properly 3 times a day.

I got my ears pierced eight years ago and had to wait for about half a year, I think. I don't know if it's changed or not, but I hope that helps!

Usually 6 to 8 weeks. It should be written on the care package/letter the piercer gave you.

That's very irresponsible that the piercer didn't give you that information. They say wait 6-8 weeks, and just to be safe, [because that's who i am] I waited 9 weeks.
