A company claimed that it has placed the "required statutory notice" on substantially all products made under their patent. What does that legally means? What action had the company taken? Does it means certified notices have been sent to all infringing parties? Whatever knowledge you may have and can share on the topic is most appreciated.

Here's what I found at the USPTO:

"Under 35 USC § 253 (paragraph 1) and 37 CFR 1.321(a), the owner (in part or in entirety) of a patent may relinquish all rights to a complete claim or claims of the owner's patent."

Hope that helps!

I believe you are referring to "marking." A patentee can mark their products with the patent number. This puts the public on notice that the products are protected.
