I've been looking at bible sayings about money and thrift and work, etc. What do you think of these verses?

(I think this question fits this category, given the fact that there has been much discussion of late regarding social justice and the "poor" and the minimum wage, etc.):

Proverbs 10: 4 - Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.

Proverbs 12:24 - Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.

Proverbs 21: 5 - The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

Proverbs 13:4 - The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.

Sounds like idle hands are the devil's playground...and that the earlybird catches the worm...so lazy people can just stay poor.

As Ethan M already knows, there is more wealth, and thus productiveness, in America among more "liberal" parts.

Also, looking at your own bible and making sick jokes isnt very Xtian.

Hypocritical the way many religious refuse to help the poor.I'm not really into that, but I'm not religious so I dont care.

In general, I agree. However, I know people who worked very hard all their lives, but because of health problems, died impoverished.
