how do you get pen and marker ink out of vinyl upholstery?

some kids were in my van and wrote all up in the roof. the markings seem to have set in. I have used everything and i'm about to give up.

Try hairspray or rubbing alcohol.

For pen(Ink) try hair spray. For Marker try WD-40.Good Luck!

A product called Lestoil.....my boyfriend (a mechanic), uses it to get oil and grease out of his car seats and rug. I'm sure it will work for ink and marker, make sure you keep the windows down though....it stinks!
