How Do You Tell a Female that She is "BIG BONE" Fat, With Out Hurting Her Feelings?

You CAN'T do it without hurting her feelings.

You have to make a choice. Hurt her feelings or say something. But first, think about your real reasons for telling her such a thing. Do you not think that she KNOWS she's overweight? Chances are, she knows better than anyone.

What benefits do you think there will be in telling her such a thing. Is it just to get it off your chest? Then don't. Keep it inside.

Do you think you can help her? If she wanted your help, trust me, she would ASK for it. Just wait until she does.

Does she ask you if you think she's overweight? If so, you can be honest, but kind. Is she a wonderful person? You claim to care about her, so tell her that you think she is beautiful. You don't have to add that you think she's beautiful on the inside as a person.

My suggestion to you, from a formerly overweight person, is DON'T say anything unless she asks you directly, and then do your best to keep kindness and compassion in your answer ahead of brutal honesty. Remember, that's YOUR perception and perception is not necessarily truth.

You can't - however you put it she'll be upset and will probably cry a lot. Trust me, she doesn't need anyone to tell her. I know I'm overweight, but if anyone ever makes a comment about it I get very defensive and very upset about it. If she's so overweight that you're worried about her health, then offer to join a gym with her, or suggest going long walks or going swimming sometime. If she's just a bit on the heavy side, then leave her alone!!!

if you cared for her then there would be no issue at all. She may not be able to help being large. my partner is big boned just like his dad, but I would not class him as fat you should say nothing and if the lady is large and want to lose weight she will in her own good time.

If you care about her a lot, then, it shouldn't matter and you don't need to tell her. If you don't really care about her (which I suspect you don't), and you really want to tell her, then I would just say it how you did here. The thing is, I don't think you care about hurting her feelings, I think you are afriad that you'll feel bad for upsetting someone else for no reason.

You can't. My ex-girlfriend gained a substantial amount of weight. I didn't say anything, but of course she insisted on asking me "Do you think I've gained weight?" As if the fact that none of her clothes fit anymore wasn't a clue. I tried the best answer I could, but got put to the fire anyway. Stay away from this subject my friend.

Depends more on the girl and less on what you say. If you are respectfully honest you've done all you can do (if you feel you must be honest about this for whatever reason you may have). She will react however her emotions guide her. Right or wrong.
