My friend Leah just broke Me and my boyfriend(now my X) up and i was really mad at her. She did it yesterday and she said say it was a misunderstanding, she thinks she can put words into my mouth. I am a bit happy because now I can try for my crush Ian. Ian said he like liked me. He also said when I was done dating Kevin he would go out with me if I wanted. I do want to! He told me on the phone 2 days ago that he was going to ask out Amy when we start the school year. We'll be in 7th grade. I want to ask him out, I like him a lot! What do you think I should do??

I think that you should let Ian know that you aren't with Kevin anymore but don't ask him out, wait till he asks you out. Tell him as soon as you can so that way if he's still interested then he'll ask you out soon before the school year starts and Amy won't even know what was going to hit her! And that friend of yours that broke you and Kevin up maybe you shouldn't confide her her with your relationships because she obviously isn't a friend if she's breaking you guys ups. She may be jealous of you and try to screw up all your relationships or may be she liked Kevin and that's why she did that. Either way, she doesn't sound like a firend, drop her like a bad habbit!

You are in the 7th grade...i think you should wait 3 or 4 years before you worry about a boyfriend.

I question the honor of any man (or in this case boy) that would even approach you with the prospect of leaving your boyfriend just so he can get with you. I will not tell you to do or not to do it. I will advise you though to examine his character VERY carefully and if you choose to proceed with this choice to proceed with extreme caution.
