There is not much you can do when youare 13, but babysitting is always an option. You should get CPR and first aid certified. Most rec centers and YMCAs offer babysitting classes to get certified, and they can help you get families to babysit for also.

I just turned 18, but I have worked as a tutor for children since I was about 16. Also, I think you should use other words instead of "stuff" so many times. Employers like people who speak clearly. Some jobs you might consider at 13 are babysitting, pet care (if you like animals), mowing lawns, cleaning houses and/or yards. These are just some ideas that I hope will help get you started. Try to pick a job you enjoy and have fun at it. Good luck!!

Depends. At 13 years of age, its going to be hard to find a mainstream company to hire you (retail etc.). I never had a baby-sitter or anything, but it seems like that would be a good bet to make some money. Ask your parents, coaches, teachers, if they know anyone who needs a sitter. You could start out by watching the kids while the parents are in the house working and whatnot, and moving your way up. Odds are babysitting jobs, though infrequent will pay more than anything else you could do.

Or you could just mooch off your parents for as long as possible. Nothing wrong with a young work ethic, but really you have the rest of your life to work. Enjoy being young!

Hate to tell you this but until you are 16 you can not get a "real" job. You can baby sit or walk dogs afterschool. Why in the world would a 13 year old kid need a job??? Save your allowance money or just ask your parents.

There are aalot of things u can be doping to earn money! I have a teenage son and when he was 13 he did all of the following: mow lawns in the summer- rake leaves in the fall, shovel snow in the winter, ask neighbors who work if they need someone to walk their dogs once or twice a day- dog walking is easy, you can babysit, ask your elderly neighbors if they need chores done that they just cant do anymore. They might have some cleaning for you to do! Good luck

I like, don't like, know. I know this will sound silly to you, but proper grammar make a big impression when interviewing for jobs. Pay more attention to what you say and how you say it.

For a 13 year old, I would recommend babysitting, mowing lawns, washing cars, the basics.

GROW UP FIRST!
You recently posted an answer to one of my Q's and the majority of it was swearing and abuse, do you honestly think ANYONE is going to hire a foul mouthed, illiterate, uneducated CHILD to look after their kids!!!??????

You'd be lucky to get a job flipping Burgers!!!!
