I really wouldn't do it even if there is a way by now. There have been so many viruses disguised as psp downgrade files that it isn't worth it. And if something were to go wrong in the middle you could end up with a unit that NEEDS to be sent in to Sony to be fixed and well... they'll know what u were doing.

What version of the program do you have? I assume you refer to Paint Shop Pro. The latest is PSPX with version 10.03.
