I dress the way I want and what I feel is appropriate for either informal, formal or casual wear. I dress well and modestly. Comfort is very important for me. However, most stores keep everyone up to date as they always stock up on the latest trends etc. Sometimes, however, you get that one sales lady here or there insisting you buy a certain make up product because that's what everyone has now :o.

Not at all. I do what I feel comfortable with. I love creating my own statements...its fun. When I go shopping I don't buy what all my friends are buying, I look for something I've never seen before and mix and match. If someone doesn't like what I wear, I don't care. Its my clothes, my style, I choose what I wanna choose. :)

ooh the whole feedback loop... Advertising agencies take a survey on what we like and then they sell it back to us in products... and we buy them... thus slaves to fashion.. mwha! I don't think I am though.

no...I make my own definition of fashion and sometimes I dont even worry about it...I just throw on whatever I have...but usually I go for looking different but still stylish and fun!

No, but I do pay attention to my style, and take cues from others.

Fashion is fickle and generalized, style is more personal and longer-lived.

No, because I don't dress super trendy or wear things that are unflattering or that I just flat out don't like (i.e. all this 80's crap that is coming back).
