it is plastic, i believe. i know it is not ceramic.

you cannot paint it! there are people who fix plastic and fiberglass tubs contact you local plumbing supply store for a contracter in your area

You don't love... Don't try or you will mess it up. Hardware stores sell a special epoxy you can paint over them with however they look horrible. It is impossible to do it perfectlty. Whatever you have now looks better than this stuff. New Fiberglass tubs only cost about 100 bucks. If you can do basic plumbing yourself, put in a brand new one. A plumber could probably install it for you in about 2 hours, maybe less if they are good.

Paint has a bad way of peeling from the inside of tubs and sinks. But if you really want to paint there, a marine-grade paint is probably your best bet.

I wouldn't paint my bathtub! If you want to paint your bathtub, you should use an epoxy paint, and be sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendation on preparation and application.

uhh.. usually you dont paint the inside. but the outside you can just go to home depot and youll have a big selection of paints for bathtubs.

if you paint the inside it will start peeling and look worse than it did
