Hey, join the club. The closest we get to a famous person coming here is when our politicians need our votes, and then it's only the state reps or the stray state senator. We live in central Wisconsin and we don't get a whole lot of anything, except mosquitoes & tourists. Why do they only do large cities? 'Cause that's where they can get the most coverage by news and such. If they came to our town, where would they put all the people? Our high school gym only seats about 500 people, so it would be a big problem jammin' them all in. I guess you could use our fairgrounds, but that's not much bigger! So, I guess you'll have to do like the rest of us, and travel to see your favorite celebrity. We have to travel all the way to Madison or Milwaukee to see any famous people, and that's 70-140 miles from here. I guess we'll just have to get our celeb fix on the tube, like most people have to do. Sorry 'bout that. <*)))><

There's not enough people in small towns and it requires the big bucks to pay the celebrity plus his/her crews payroll. Also if the people were to come, there probably wouldn't be a building large enough to hold them all, or the security that would be needed to look after them and for crowd control. It would be nice if they could find a park and have an outdoor event but most are leery about the weather, security, or the sound control. It would still take alot of money to put this on and most small towns won't take the gamble of making enough money to pay for the whole event. I would love to see George Strait, Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood come to my tiny town, but it just isn't going to happen.

no money in it....plain and simple...think of the logistics involved. Too costly to stage a show, move the equipment, etc. for such a small audience....where's the profit?....big cities invite large scale shows by the biggest entertainers.....nothing more than that, just dollars and sense.

They don't care about the little guys. Just big business. That's why concerts are in big cities such as LA, Seattle, Dallas, Miami, etc.

Cost per point. Why try to sell to a couple of dozen ... when, with the same effort you can sell to thousands?

Why do most people not realize that almost every question that begins with "Why...?" has for an answer, "Money"?
