Most of my questions are stupid and not really meant to be taken serious, but I'm serious about this one. I know that the two animals are closely related, so I'm pretty sure it's possible, I was just wondering the other day if it has ever been done.

to "just me" it is not like breeding a cat with a dog. Wloverines and skunks are in the same family, which also include badgers and weasles. Cats and dogs are in completely seperate families.

saggitarian63, just because their different species does not mean it is not possible. Haven't you ever heard of a liger? Lions and tigers are different species. How about mules, half horse, half donkey.

I have one. Its called a Wolverskunk. Its a vicious beast with claws the size of your head and a funky smell that stays with you for days. If you ask any more stupid questions--"Most of my questions are stupid and not really meant to be taken serious" I will release him on you. You will not be happy. Watch out his name is Thore.

That would be one nasty Little critter - a Skunkarine I believe - all the nastiness of the wolverine and all the st inkiness of a skunk. On the other hand you could end up with a Wunk - which has no nastiness or smell - in fact they'd be so harmless they wouldn't last in the wild.

Are you really sure they're that closely related?

If they are - could you use one of my names for them?

get a wolverine.
then find a metal fence.
then paint the fence white.
while the paint is still wet, have the wolverine walk under the fence.

you will have a wolverine skunk.

Hmm. What would you have, a wolverunk or a skunine? I think wolverunk is easier to pronounce.

ok, now there is a useful animal - claws, a nasty attitude and a scent to remember the beast. No thank you!
