A shower for the disabeled......
a ROLL in shower stall with railings on 3 sides
Grab bars
No slip chair ,
no skid mat for those that can walk easy.
I would also reccomend a whirlpool/hydrotherapy tub with a front latch opening . The jets feel good on sore muscles and they also clean hard to reach areas. and you can add some bubbles to those.Everyone likes a nice bubble bath . These have a transfer chair that connects to the tub and you roll the person into the tub then fill it. They fill fast so there is less risk of getting chilled.

A hoyer lift . To lift Residents into a tub or shower seat.
Special secure chairs.
Special cleaning products. To keep the showers and tubs clean safely.
Long handeled sponges.
Sit in bath lifts.
PRIVACY CURTAINS. for dignity
Wheel Chairs.
Transfer benches.
A safety call button
Well trained personel to opperate these items.

It depends on the disability.
there are many different kinds of disabilities and many types of equipment to help.

mostly you just need to allow extra space for a wheelchair to get around in the space and to have handles and such at a height that someone sitting can reach without having to ask for help.
