My brother swore by toothpaste as an acne cream 30 years ago. I think he was crazy.

The toothpaste cools down the spot/pimple and the redness goes away. Which is quite good but this isnt always the case so have a bottle of spot cream in your room just in case.

Don't try toothpaste...It's dangerous. Due to the flouride contained in the toothpaste, if you leave it on too long or put too much on your spot then it burns your skin and may even bleach it, it also makes it peel badly! I know this from personal experience! Witch Hazel is always worth trying, camomile lotion! or Tea tree oil are all supposed to be good. Good Luck,

tried it, and it burns the spots for god knows how long your face needs to cool down, then in morning you have loads more blotches over your face, it does take the pores away though, so no pus left on spots ..lol.... not recommended,,, try mashing some cucumber up with some natural yogurt, with a squeeze of a lime, spread it on face,, leave it for hour, then wash off,,, certainly makes the skin look more refreshing, nothing really you can get rid of spots anyway, just try not to squeeze them..

when i was in florida one year a fellow guest at the hotel literally trod on a huge bee & it stung her badly - the maid cleaning the rooms at this time went & got a tube of regular toothpaste & put it on the sting - amazingly the sting healed within 2 days - a lot to be said for so called wives tales !

yes, it does...just leave it on for a few hours, over night will give a slight burn, we want to get rid of the pimple right, so we don't need a nother red spot taking over. but i use it every month...just dab a lil on the head of the pimple..it will not come up anymore than it is already...tried and tested and gave A+++

yeh it's actually a model's cure for pimples. you put it on just the spot (DON'T rub it in!!) and leave it on over night. it dries up and goes crusty. wash it off in the morning.
use the white type of paste, not the gel.
also, this is for one or two pimples not a whole face full.
